From Garden to Table: A Complete Meal

From Garden to Table: A Complete Meal

A meal I literally made with everything from my garden. I made a sauteed blend of Hungarian sweet peppers, jalapeno, tomato, okra, and Egyptian onions with some fresh garlic. I made a a sauteed blend of northern beans and kale which also came from the garden and used turmeric, smoked paprika, onion, garlic and salt and pepper to season. I made some cheesy lentil tortillas by hand and used mozzarella and brushed it with a garlic parsley butter. It was sooo good and full of protein. Then I made some simple fried green tomatoes with the tomatoes from my garden. Lastly I made my coconut rice which is so delicious. I don't know how to describe the taste but I use a can of coconut milk with the fat instead of water to cook the rice in along with salt and butter. It leaves a buttery yet firm taste and texture. Just try it. Anyway, with all these crazy recalls going around, homegrown is always best. Ase' and Sadatay ✊🏾
